Charlotte Environmental, Inc. intends to help reduce our environmental impact and promote renewable energy and energy conservation by offering products that conserve resources, generate energy from renewable sources, and products that reduce our carbon footprint and greenhouse gases. We provide customers with information, products and services.  Our utmost goal is to minimize our dependence on foreign and fossil fuels, to conserve natural resources, to create more energy from environmentally friendly renewable resources, to deliver a higher degree of energy security, and to realize a healthier quality of life.

Charlotte Environmental, Inc. offers a wide variety of products and we are constantly working to expand our product offering. However, we intend to select and offer only those products that meet our high quality standards as well as our standards for being truly “green”.

We offer the products at the very time the home buyer selects the upgrades and options for the family’s new home. The options are installed during home construction and the cost can be rolled into the mortgage. This makes us highly unique amidst the eco-options retailers and places us perfectly in the market place.

Everyone wants to save the world. Everyone wants to rescue the planet. Everyone wants to protect the health of our family. Everyone wants to create a safe living environment. We all recognize that building green can help do all these things. But while many homeowners realize the importance of an environmentally friendly home, people often believe that to make a real difference you have to spend a lot of money. While there are expensive choices such as adding solar panels, there are less expensive choices such as solar hot water systems, and inexpensive choices such as compact fluorescent light bulbs or bamboo versus non-FSE certified wood floors, and there are even choices that are free (see our section on ‘What Can I do’).

But even as you contemplate how much to invest and which options you can afford, it is also imperative to look beyond the initial investment at the potential monetary savings. Yes, an efficient hot water system costs you more today compared to a regular model, but as a result of a wise choice today, each month for the next 10 years your gas bill will be lower ending up saving you money in the long-run.

What can you do and will it make a difference? You don’t have to do everything to make a difference. As long as you chose one thing you have already contributed. And if every household just chooses one thing, a lot of energy and carbon emissions will be saved.
