Beautiful Mosaics from Recycled Glass

GreenE-Glass™ is the latest product introduction in the GreenE™ series of environmentally friendly products from Southern Cross Technologies, Inc. and Southern Cross Building Products, LLC.

A hand-crafted glass mosaic series that will add beauty to any decor. Start with post-consumer glass, direct it away from the landfill and into the factory, add modern, gracious hues, deliver it to those who care about the beauty of their environment, and help preserve the beauty of planet earth.

It took two years of research before Southern Cross launched its quality glass mosaic with 100% of the raw material being post-consumer recycled glass. Because the finished product contains some new material, such as the mesh backing, Southern Cross offers the product as a minimum 50% post-consumer recycled content product.

GreenE-Glass™ comes in a popular palette of colors, including Aqua Essence and Glacier Blue, Golden Amber and Royal Sunset, Pearl Harvest, and Cool Mist, a mixed mosaic that includes Aqua Essence, Glacier Blue, and Pearl Harvest,. All colors are available as a 1” x 1”x 8mm tile mounted on a 12” x 12” sheet.

The raw materials, post-consumer products such as soft drink bottles, are melted down and processed through a conventional glass mosaic process. The variety of clear and colored glass in the raw materials creates a naturally variant color mix. The finishing process gives a hand-crafted charm to each piece
