Remote Controlled Dimmer

Natural Light is proud to unveil its newest product; the remote controlled dimmer. The dimmer allows you to adjust the amount of daylight entering a room with an easy-to-use remote control. It fits all tubular skylight models. Perfect for any room that may need to be darkened during the day including bedrooms andmedia rooms or in a corporate setting, conference rooms can be darkened for powerpoint presentations.

Evening Light Kit

There may be instances where a room is either too small or it is otherwise undesirable to have a second light fixture in the ceiling. Natural Light has an ingenious solution! Natural Light can install a tubular skylight in the previous fixture’s ceiling rough out. Then an incandescent fixture is mounted inside wired to the wall switch. The light tube and your Natural Light tubular skylight is now ready to serve for evening illumination.

Integrated Exhaust System

The bathroomisunquestionably one of themost popular rooms for added light.Yet large amounts of warm moisture laden air can be an issue. Natural Light comes to the rescue again with an integrated skylight exhaust system. Our Super Vent Fan (SVF) is capable of exhausting 125 cfm, enough to vent a bathroom and shower stall. Natural Light’s ingenious design disguises the intake vent in a sleek trim ring that holds the skylight diffuser.Nomore ugly vent grates!The vent is then connected to a motor that is remote located in your attic space,making it extremely quiet.Flexible exhaust tubing allows formany venting options including a dual exhaust in your shower stall.The SVF can also accommodate the light kit for evening lighting.

Energy & Atmosphere

• Credit for Daylight. Minimum Daylight Factor of 2% (meaning light levels inside the space must be 2% minimum of the light levels outdoors) in 75% of all space occupied for critical visual tasks. (One point)
• Energy Optimization Credit. This credit is determined by reducing the design energy cost compared to the energy cost budget for energy systems regulated by ASHRAE/IESNA Standard 90.1-1999 (without amendments), as demonstrated using a whole building simulation using the Energy Cost Budget Method described in Section 11 of the Standard. (One to Ten points available depending on the results of the energy simulation)

Indoor Environmental Quality

• Controllability of Systems (perimeter and nonperimeter). Solatube Daylighting Systems can be beneficial to achieving this credit if the Daylight Dimmer is used to offer occupants total control of the daylit environment. (One to Two points)

 

The Stress Collar is exclusive to Natural Light tubular skylights. This seamless aluminumcollar is factory fastened to the dome and functions to equalize the stress around it.The collar is connected to the roofjack eliminating screws into the dome; avoiding the major cause of leakage. The Light Pipe is silver coated aluminumwith a total reflectivity of 98%. The pipe is easily trimmed with shears during installation. The Trim Ring is seamless aluminum. Powder coated for durability, it will blend into any decor. The Diffuser is designed with a precise arc for exact light dispersion without spot lighting or glare. Available in soft white or prismatic, it snaps into the trim ring for a snug, dust and moisture free seal.

The Roof Jack is .080 aluminum,making it one of the thickest flashings on the market. Its unique forward sloping design eliminates light robbing elbows in most installations and it fits on any flat or pitched roof. The round seamless flange is designed to uniformly expand and contract under changing environmental conditions ensuring years of leak free operation. Easily paintable to blend in with your roof, its low, unobtrusive profile makes it appealing to home owners associations.

The Dome is constructed of high impact modified acrylic. Considerably stronger than regular acrylic, it easily withstands wide temperature variations. This material is also UV stabilized,absorbing 99%ofUV rays while maintaining optic clarity.
